Who We Are

We work with two groups of clients: families who need trustworthy in-home care for aging or recovering loved ones, and healthcare facilities hospitals, long-term care homes, and retirement residences that need reliable, credentialed staff to fill shifts and cover gaps.

Our Mission

Every person who needs care deserves someone who shows up - trained, compassionate, and committed. Every facility facing a staffing gap deserves a partner who responds fast and delivers the right person. That is what Essential Staff exists to do.

What We Do

• Place certified PSWs, RNs, RPNs, and caregivers in private homes and facilities across Ontario
• Provide 24-hour and emergency staffing for urgent facility needs
• Offer in-home care including dementia care, post-operative recovery, overnight care, and companion care
• Screen and credential every staff member - police checks, reference verification, and qualification confirmation

Essential Staff is led by a team with direct experience in Ontario's healthcare system. We understand the pressure facilities are under, and we understand the anxiety families feel when searching for care. Both realities drive how we operate.
