Essential Staff is looking for compassionate, reliable, and qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our healthcare staffing team across Ontario. Successful candidates will provide high-quality, person-centred care in home care, long-term care, retirement homes, and other healthcare settings.

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / On-call
Location: Multiple cities across Canada
Salary Range: $25-$40 P/Hour

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to clients.
- Assess client needs and develop or follow individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document clients’ health status and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and care teams.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, health and safety, and professional practice standards.
- Respond appropriately to changes in clients’ health and escalate concerns when required.
- Support clients with dignity, respect, and a person-centred approach.
Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RN or RPN.
- Valid nursing credentials and required certifications.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous experience in healthcare, community care, long-term care, retirement homes, or home care is an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Reliable, compassionate, professional, and committed to providing excellent client care.
- Successful completion of required background screening and onboarding requirements.
