Essential Staff is looking for compassionate, reliable, and qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our healthcare staffing team across Ontario. Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / On-call

Location: Multiple cities across Canada

Salary Range: $25-$40 P/Hour

Expiry Date: 10/15/2026

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to clients.
  • Assess client needs and develop or follow individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and document clients’ health status and changes in condition.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and care teams.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection prevention, health and safety, and professional practice standards.
  • Respond appropriately to changes in clients’ health and escalate concerns when required.
  • Support clients with dignity, respect, and a person-centred approach.

Qualifications

  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RN or RPN.
  • Valid nursing credentials and required certifications.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, community care, long-term care, retirement homes, or home care is an asset.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
  • Reliable, compassionate, professional, and committed to providing excellent client care.
  • Successful completion of required background screening and onboarding requirements.
